PACKERS WIN AGAIN, VIRGINIA HEADING TO ATLANTA

The Green Bay Packers didn't play that well offensively or defensively but they played just well enough to win knocking off the New York Giants in the final seconds of the game 38-35.  The Giants had tied the game at 35 with less than a minute to go but left the Packers just a little to much time, the Packers will return home next weekend to face the Raiders.  The Redskins fell apart in the 4th quarter yesterday and loss to the New York Jets 34-19, the games was much closer than the final score indicated but a loss is a loss.  In a bit of surprise last night the Virginia Cavaliers found out they would be playing in the Chick-fil-A Bowl against Auburn and Virginia Tech will be heading to the Sugar Bowl to face Michigan, both bowls came as surprise to both Virginia and Virginia Tech.  The VCU Rams picked up another win on the hardwood yesterday afternoon beating George Washington 75-60, the Rams are now 5-3 and will face Richmond next.  The Colonial Heights boys basketball team will be back in action tonight on the road at Varina.  MICKEY
