The college football bowl season starts today with 3 games and will continue for next few weeks leading up to the championship game between Alabama and LSU. Last night high school basketball action Colonial Heights was able to stay with Hopewell for 3 quarters before the Bluedevils put the game away in the 4th quarter and came away with a 84-54 win over the Colonials. The VCU Rams return to the hardwood tonight at home against UNC Wilmington, this will be the first game in the CAA this year for both teams. Well down at Wal-Mart this morning they were getting ready for all those last minute shoppers, they all kinds of things in isles all over the store for all of you last minute shoppers and I am sure you don't want to be anywhere close to the mall this weekend.
