COLONIALS WIN AGAIN, VIRGINA BACK IN ACTION

The Colonial Heights Colonials picked up its 2nd win in as many days beating the Monacan Chiefs 5-2 last night at Shepherd Stadium.  The Colonials got another very strong pitching performance last night from Colin Reeves who didn't walk anybody in last night complete game victory but he did hit 1 batter, in the last 2 games the Colonials have played we have only walked 2 batters.  On the offensive side of things the Colonials got some very big hits at key times in the game and played some pretty good defense as well.  Next week will be another very busy week for the Colonials with home games with Prince George, Hopewell and Dinwiddie on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  The Virginia baseball team will start a 3 games series at home tonight with the N.C. State Wolfpack, the Cavs have a 2 game lead in the standings over Georgia Tech and Miami Florida in the Coastal Division entering this weeks action.  There is no Sprint Cup race this weekend however the Nationwide Series will be at Nashville.  My right ear is stopped again, I guess I have water in it again.  MICKEY
