COLONIALS HOLD ON FOR THE WIN

The Colonial Heights Colonials baseball team held on for a 13-9 win last night against Prince George last night at Shepherd Stadium.  The jumped out to quick 4-0 lead in the 1st inning only to have Prince George tie the game back up at 4-4 before the Colonials went up 12-4 and held on.  The Colonials used 5 different pitchers in the win and got 3 double plays at very key times in the game.  The problems with our pitchers again last night was walks again, after only walking 2 guys the last 2 games we had 11 free passes last night.  I have to say that you don't win many games walking 11 guys.  The Colonials will be back in action tonight at home at 6pm against Hopewell, the Colonials are now 8-4 overall and 3-1 in the Central District.  The Virginia baseball team will be back in action tonight at home against VCU, the Cavs remain #1 or #2 in all the college baseball polls.  My allergies are continuing to bother me, my eyes are itching and my right ear remains pretty clogged up.  MICKEY
