COLONIALS FALL TO DINWIDDIE

The Dinwiddie Generals defeated the CH Colonials 6-2 last night in Dinwiddie, the Colonials were held hitless for 6 and 1/3 innings before Andrew Holt broke up the no-hitter in the top of the 7th. The Colonials are now (1-1,3-2) for the season and our next game is at Petersburg on tuesday. The TD Knights beat Meadowbrook 11-1 yesterday to improve to (1-1,1-4-1) overall, the Knights have Matoaca on tuesday. The Richmond Riverdogs will be in Detroit tonight to play the Motor City Mechanics, the Dogs are two points behind Quad City entering this weekend for the final playoff spot. The Nextel Cup Series make there first stop of the year in Virginia this weekend at Martinsville, there still could be some short fuses in this weekends race. At press time I haven't decided or not whether I am going to the beach this weeknd or not but I am leaning towards staying home, but I could change my mind later today. MICKEY
