A Very Busy Saturday For Sports

It is going to be a very busy day for sports around here with college football, mlb, nascar and Riverdogs hockey. Today in the ACC Wake Forest at BC-13.5, Miami-41.5 at Temple, Ga Tech-21 at Duke and Fla. St -7 at UVA. In other games of interest ECU at SMU-2, Georgia-16 at Vandy and the big one today USC-12 at Notre Dame. In baseball both the NL and AL championship series play today with White Sox up 2-1 and the Cards and Astros tied 1-1 in there best of 7 series. Nascar is at the Lowes Motor Speedway with Va's E Sadler on the pole, it could be a wild night in NC. The Riverdogs started preseason play last night with a 6-4 win over Roanoke, there were plenty of fights and ejection in the game. The same two teams play again tonight at Skatenation on Broad Street. I have posted a few photo that the Dogs team photographer B Houston took last night. I am going to the game tonight, the Dogs home opener is next friday night against the Adirondack Icehawks. Well lets hope UVA and Notre Dame can pull the upsets today. MICKEY

Let's hope MY boy, E. Sadler, just hangs back and lets everyone wreck in front of him. Then he can FINALLY get that checkerd flag! Hope it's not a wreck-fest like the race last night.

Since my grandson is watching the race with us, I'm glad we couldn't just hear what Smoke was saying on the radio! What a track! Julianne is at the UVA game. She told us all earlier that she would bring them good luck. Looks like she might be right! Guess I'll have to watch the news to see what the trouble is there. Hope Mickey doesn't have any thugs in the penalty box tonight!
