Mickey's Place

Well Southside Speedway has been my playground for 31 years now and it's always good to see an old friend there. Tonight I saw my buddy Almo. I nicknamed him that years ago when I asked him to drive the pace car for me. Those were some fun times weren't they Almo? Of course it was really nice to see one the nicest person I went to high school with, Donna. I'm not out of control and I'm not asking any questions. They are good friends that I know no matter how long it is before I see them again I know they are there. See you all soon. It's hockey season! Hey Almo one question- Do you still have those Gary Fox signature skis?

southside has been my play ground to for about 25 years!! we had a blast last night from the time we signed in until we left! we would have came up to the tower after the race but i have to work today. we didn't get opset about the other post either!! kinda liked it!! and yes i have to explain the nickname all the time but once i do its like oh yea i see!! plus if somebody calls me almo i know its a racing person and being that i'm getting older the more imformation i can ggive myself the better chance i have of figuring out who's talking to me. yes i do still have those ski's they didn't make me ski any better!!

I really did have a great time last night. I felt like I was with a movie star! I lost count of the number of people who were so excited to see Al there! It was so good to see you, too, Gary! I have something better than a Larry Fox signature, Scott! I get to teach his sweet little girl, Savanna, everyday!

I don't think that ball worth that much.

Hey Donna..If you wanna see people get excited you should watch the workers at the go-kart tracks in Nagshead when we used to race during summer vacation. Mickey is the dirtiest driver and Al is the second dirtiest on record in Rodanthe. They never raced clean like Little Earnhardt(me)!!!

I've heard those stories, George! I'd love to hear YOUR version. I think the Goulder Brothers' versions might be a bit embellished! Speaking of my little Tussing Tigers...I have the honor of teaching Nicholas, too! I'm a lucky girl! Hope all is well with the parents-to-be! :)

All I know is that George was the only one ejected from Waterfall Park for rough driving.

First,Nicholas cant stop talking about you and your class. He talked non-stop for an hour at dinner last night. He loves ya. Second I was thrown out for retaliating from Mick's rough driving. I was innocent!!!

Hey Mickey still owes me $5 from getting us thrown off after only 2 laps for a head on collision with Staples at Rodanthe. Al is still recovering from his injuries too..

donna said...

Just what I needed to hear! Thanks! You've made my day. I think we all need to go back to Rodanthe. I'll be the photographer this time!

i don't know if the ban on george has been lifted yet so we probably can't go do there!! i wonder how many innocent people are in jail george? that was the hardest wreck of any kinda that i was ever in!

we can't help it if george is not smart enought not to get caught!

I believe the man you need to call is Taco in Rodanthe..He knows I was not at fault

Mickey said...

My incident with George was a racing racing accident.

But remember Mickey is like the 48 he always triggers the BIG ONE that gets us booted. I vaguely remember I was only banned from the dune buggies and not the go-kart tracks. I heard people were coming from Georgia to see me race..

i do remember us all get kicked off one time but wasn't that mickey and staples that crashed head on and taco said we are all kicked off because of them?

Mickey said...

I can't help it if Staples is in the middle of the back stretch going the wrong way.

Al said...

i didn't say it was your fault. pretty much if staples is involved its his fault!!
