REDSKINS LOSE TO THE PANTHERS

The Washington Redskins lost to the winless Carolina Panthers yesterday 20-17, the Skins actually lead this game 17-2 before the wheels came off. I have to say things are not looking to good for the coach of the Skins. In the MLB playoffs yesterday the Yankees and the Angles completed 3-0 series sweeps in the respective series while in the NL the Phillies now lead the Rockies 2-1. Jimmie Johnson continued his hot streak yesterday at the California Speedway holding off Jeff Gordon for the win and by doing so he now leads Mark Martin by 12 points followed by Juan Pablo Montoya 58 points back. My arm may be a bit sore in the morning as we are starting our fall baseball camp today which will be held on Monday and Wednesday as longs as the weather is decent before we start lifting weights during the winter. I have posted a link below to the photos Al took at Homecoming, I am still uploading the photos but more than half of them are already posted. MICKEY

You Believe Calorie-Burn Estimates
Oh, how sweet it would be if 20 minutes on a cardio machine really did blast 400 calories. But like most things in life that sound too good to be true, those digital displays broadcasting mega calorie burn are often bogus. Recent research presented at the National Strength and Conditioning Conference found that elliptical trainers over-estimate calorie burn by an average of 30%. If you're trying to create a calorie deficit to lose weight, those thought-you-burned-'em calories can add up over time and thwart your success.

Take Stock
To avoid duplicate purchases, do an inventory, starting with the fridge, kitchen cabinets and pantry. Then check the laundry room, the linen closet (if you keep items there) and the bathroom.

Itemize what you need to buy in categories, ordered the way the store does it: baking, beverages, dairy, fresh produce, health and beauty aids, and so on. And make sure you have the store’s flyer handy when you write your list. That way you can take note of the best deals that week and jot down the size and price of sale items to avoid picking up the wrong variation.
