BASEBALL CAMP STARTED YESTERDAY

Well we started are annual baseball camp yesterday a week late yesterday because of bad weather last week. It was little cool but it wasn't raining and once you started moving around it wasn't to bad, we had 17 or 18 kids at eh camp which isn't bad at all. In the MLB playoffs yesterday the Angels beat the Yankees 5-4 in 11 innings, the Yankees still lead the series 2-1, in the NL the Phillies are just one win away from heading back to the World Series after beating the Dodgers 5-4. The Yankees and Angels will play game 4 today. Don't let this mornings cold weather fool you, the temperature this afternoon is going to climb all the way into the mid 70's which is fine with me because I am not ready for all this cold weather we have been having yet. MICKEY

Bathtub
You take baths to destress, right? Then don’t think about this the next time you’re lounging in the tub: A recent study found the harmful bacteria staphylococcus in 26 percent of tested bathtubs. Worse: Whirlpool-style tubs, which some experts say may be bacterial breeding grounds due to the construction of the pipes, seem to be the biggest culprits. A study by scientists at Texas A&M University that examined water samples from 43 whirlpool tubs found that all had dangerous bacterial growth—from fecal matter to fungi.

Keep germs at bay by regularly cleaning your bathtub with a bleach-based cleaner. Whirlpool owners should consider having a professional maintenance person assist in cleaning dirty pipes.

Mustard It's heaven on a soft pretzel, but mustard may also be a weight loss wonder. Turmeric, the spice that gives mustard its color, may slow the growth of fat tissues, a study in the journal Endocrinology finds. Use it on sandwiches instead of mayo, or sprinkle turmeric on cauliflower pre-roasting to give it a kick. Try it on tuna salad—I promise it adds zest.

I'm sure Mickey will be putting mustard on every thing appropriate. Especcially his tuna fish.

Are you saying that Mickey doesn't follow his own advise.

Mickey eats chicken, hamburgers and pizza. He does not practice what he preaches
