HAPPY HALLOWEEN, HEADING TO THE UVA GAME

Well I thought I would wish all you fellow bloggers a Happy Halloween. Andrew will not be going trick or treating tonight instead he will be heading to the Virginia football game against Duke and he is hoping he doesn't get tricked by the Blue Devils. It was a very tough night last night for the Colonials football team as they fell to Thomas Dale 51-0, I don't think there is anything else that needs to be said about this game. I have posted all the other high school scores of interest below. I am going to the Virginia game as well today and I am hoping that the rain holds off, I don't think I can sit out in the rain like I did last week. They will play game 3 of World Series tonight in Philadelphia, I have to say I am rooting of the Phillies. They will qualify today for Tomorrow's Sprint Cup race at Talladega, Clint Bowyer was the fastest in the final practice yesterday. Also don't forget to set your clocks back an hour tonight before you go to bed. MICKEY

Energy Zapper #5: Toxic Indoor Air
Humming copy machines. Cleaning products. Dry-cleaning chemicals. Synthetic carpeting. Even the desks in your office may be contributing to the load of toxins you breathe each day, because all of them release chemicals into the air. "No one knows for sure how much harm these cause to our bodies, but they do build up over time, and can drain your energy by potentially interfering with thyroid function and overloading the body's detox system," says Frank Lipman, MD, a New York City physician and author of Spent: End Exhaustion and Feel Great Again. (Reduce your exposure to chemical toxins.)

Energy Fix
Get outside. If you're feeling tired, go out for 10 minutes to breathe fresh air. Indoors, cultivate houseplants, which are remarkably good at absorbing toxins. And don't wear shoes inside the house--you're dragging not just dirt indoors on your soles, but pesticides and other harmful chemicals too.

Magnified thoughts
Your thoughts are more powerful than you can ever realize. For there is a part of you that faithfully puts each thought into action without question.
Your thoughts affect every part of you in ways much too numerous to ever keep track of. Each thought sets off a cascade of responses within you that cannot be stopped.

What you think, affects where your life goes. For each thought is magnified and manifested through the whole of your existence.

Positive thinking empowers much more than your thoughts. Negative thinking can dismantle every part of your life.

You always have a choice of what to think. When making that choice, always remember each thought has great power that continues long after the thought has passed from your consciousness.

Though thinking does not make it so, thinking makes you make it so. What you think becomes what you live.
