ME MA RUTH GETS PACEMAKER

Me Ma Ruth got her pacemaker yesterday and seemed to be feeling pretty good at the hospital last night. They said that she will probably be able to come home in a few days. In the MLB playoffs yesterday the Phillies, Yankees and Dodgers all won game 1 of there respective series, 3 of the 4 series will be in action today with Yanks and Twins taking the day off while Red Sox and Angels play game 1 of there series. It was a bit cool when I went out to get the paper this morning, it is suppose to get to 76 today and the into the mid to upper 80's on Friday. I have everybody's picks for this weeks contest with the exception of John's, hopefully he will get his picks in soon. MICKEY

Make Your Own Mouthwash. Just as how making your own natural toothpaste is a completely safe route, creating your own natural mouthwash will prevent adding more potentially harmful chemicals to your body. You can make your own mouthwash with 2 drops pepperment oil, 2 drops tea tree oil, 1/2 teaspoon sea salt and 1/2 cup warm filtered water.

You Sacrifice Good Form
High-intensity exercise may burn loads of calories, but not if you're hanging onto the handrails for dear life. It’s important to focus on your form, even if that means lowering the intensity; otherwise, you won’t recruit as many muscle fibers, so you burn fewer calories. Same goes for strength-training, according to James Levine, PhD, a scientist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN; his research has found that standing while lifting weights boosts calorie burn by about 50 calories per half-hour. Best of all, one study shows that good posture allows you to take in more oxygen so your workout feels easier, even while you're blasting more calories.

The other good thing is you are using the same oils so you save money. The homeade toothpast and mouthwash would be great Christmas gifts!
