RAIN, RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY

Well I think we got enough rain yesterday to bring us out of the drought we have been in the last few years and there is a pretty good chance of rain the next few days as well. With all the rain we had yesterday tomorrows high school baseball games are very much in doubt, if we were playing at home there is no way we would play Tuesday. The biggest problem that we are going to have is that the sun isn't going to be out to much the next few days at all. Andrews LL game was washed out Sunday as well, his team is scheduled to play again on Tuesday & Wednesday as well, they might as well throw there schedule out the window with all the rain outs they have had. The Capitals will meet the Flyers tonight in game 6 on there best of 7 series in Philadelphia, the Caps have to win to force a game 7. Kyle Busch won yesterdays Nationwide race in Mexico City, it was Busch 3rd straight win on the Nationwide series. I have added my training log to the right of the blof so everybody can keep track of how much exercise I am getting each week. Maybe we will be able to hit in the cage today, but that isn't even looking good at this time. MICKEY

Diet Tip: Don’t just concentrate on your physical appearance
Besides affecting your appearance, you should realize that your weight is also affecting your self-esteem, health, and your quality of living. Look inward and sense the other changes that are just about inside of you.

Choose your commitments
You won't be able to commit to anything if you try to commit to everything. Be willing to say no to the things that are not really important, and you'll be able to say yes, in a big way, to those things that are most meaningful.

A few, carefully selected, quality commitments will bring much more value to your life than a whole calendar full of shallow, relatively meaningless ones. The depth and meaning of life's experiences matter more than the sheer volume of them.

Just because you're busy doesn't necessarily mean you're making real progress. Take some time to consider just where all that activity is taking you.

Life is filled with all sorts of wonderful opportunities for real fulfillment. There's no need to grab at everything that happens to come by.

Every single day is precious and unique. Spend each day moving life forward in a personally meaningful way.

Choose your commitments with care and grace, with love and purpose. Then you can truly know the joy of giving yourself fully to them.
