RANGERS AND CAPITALS BACK IN ACTION TODAY

The New York Rangers and Washington Capitals will play game 3 of there Eastern Conference Semi-finals series this afternoon in Washington with the Rangers leading the series 2-1.  I am hoping that the Rangers offense will start putting the puck in the back of the net at better rate than they have, the defense has been playing very well.  Last night Phoenix beat Nashville 1-0 to take a 3-1 series lead.  The will qualify this afternoon for tomorrows Sprint Cup race at Talladega Superspeedway and Nationwide series will run there this afternoon and they will start by the series point standings because of rain yesterday.  I went down to Wal-Mart this morning to pick up a few things and I have to say there sure weren't many people in the store but then again it was 5:30 in the morning, next weekend it will be busy with people coming in to pick up some Mother's Day gifts.  My allergies have really been bothering the last few days, there seem to be allot of things that seem to be blooming with all the warm temps we have been having.  MICKEY

Pump yourself up
Muscle burns more calories than fat does, and decreased muscle mass can be one of the main reasons metabolism slows. Disuse can cause women to drop as much as 10 pounds of muscle between the ages of 30 and 50. Losing that much muscle means you'll burn 350 to 500 fewer calories a day. To build and maintain muscle mass, aim for two to three strength-training workouts a week. If you don't belong to a gym, try push-ups, squats, abdominal crunches and tricep dips off a chair.
