HAPPY MOTHERS DAY, RANGERS BEAT THE CAPS

Well first off I want to wish all the Mother's who come by to visit Mickey's Place a very Happy Mother's Day.  The New York Rangers will be moving on to Eastern Conference Finals of the Stanley Cup Playoffs where they will face the New Jersey Devils with series starting tomorrow night at Madison Square Garden.  Last night the Rangers beat the Caps 2-1 in another very close game in this series, the Rangers appeared to be step quicker than the Caps though and came away with the win.   I thought the Rangers played there best game of the series defensively last night limiting the number of quality chances the Caps had offensively.  The Western Conference Finals began tonight in Phoenix with Coyotes facing the L.A. Kings.  In college baseball action yesterday the Virginia Cavaliers won there 10th straight game beating Georgia Tech 4-2, the Cavs will go for there 11th straight win this afternoon against the Yellow Jackets.  Jimmie Johnson won last nights Sprint Cup race at Darlington giving Rick Hendrick his 200th career win the Sprint Cup Series and for a Darlington race for the most part things were pretty tame.  The only brush up was between a crew member of Ryan Newman's team went after some members of Kurt Busch's crew after he though Busch caused an incident that caused Newman's car to be heavily damaged.  Don't forget the Colonials baseball team will play it's final game of the regular season at home Tuesday night against Meadowbrook.  MICKEY
