COLONIALS & CAVALIERS WIN, RANGERS FALL

The Colonial Heights Colonials baseball team picked up a 5-0 win on the road at Petersburg last night and with the win the Colonials are now 10-5 on the season 5-4 in the Central District.  The Colonials will be at Matoaca tonight and will return home on Thursday night against Hopewell.  The Virginia baseball team beat Miami against last light 7-4 and with the win swept the 3 game series with the Hurricanes and Cavs will return to action tomorrow night against High Point.  The Washington Capitals beat the New York Rangers last night 3-2 to even up there series at 1-1, the way things are going in this series I think it cold go 7 games.  In the Western Conference last night the L.A. Kings beat St. Louis 5-2 to take a 2-0 series lead and now the series heads back to L.A.  for the next 2 games.  Tonight there is only 1 game in the playoffs with New Jersey visiting Philadelphia.  Also in case you didn't notice today is the 1st day of May.  MICKEY
