COLONIALS IN L.C. BIRD TOURNAMENT TODAY

The CH Colonials will play Benedectine today at 4pm weather permitting in the 1st round of the L.C. Bird Invitational baseball tournament. The Colonials will try to make it a perfect week with another victory. I have to say after looking at the radar that today's game is very doubtful. The Richmond Riverdogs fell to the Adirondack Frostbite 3-1 last night at the RC and at the same time Quad City defeated Rockford 2-1 in SO to give them a two point advantage over the Dogs for the final playoff spot. The Dogs are pretty much in a must win situation tonight. There was a special guest in attendance last night as fellow blogger Mark joined me and Les in the stands. Also I forgot to mention in yesterdays entry to the blog that the Southside Speedway had opening night last night, former blogger Gary Fox and Chris Stefi are running the shows at Southside this year. I will be taking the car down to the beach either tonight or sunday morning for mom will have a car to drive while she is on vacation this week. I thought I would post another photo from the Prince George game of dad having a discussion with the umpire. MICKEY
