RANGERS WIN GAME 1, VIRGINIA WINS

The New York Rangers beat the Washington Capitals yesterday afternoon 3-1 to take a 1-0 series lead in Eastern Conference Semi-Finals.  The game was tied at 1-1 entering the 3rd period before the Rangers scored 2 goals in less than 1:30, game 2 is set for tomorrow night at Madison Square Garden.  In the Western Conference yesterday the L.A. Kings beat St. Louis yesterday 3-1 to take a 1-0 series lead.  Today there are 2 games that will be played, the Flyers and Devils will play game 1 and the Coyotes and Predators will play game 2 of there series.  The Virginia baseball team opened up there weekend series with Miami with 7-3 win rainy Miami, game 2 of the series is set for tonight at 7pm in Miami.  Well I went to RIR last night to watch Kyle Busch win his 4th straight spring race at RIR, Carl Edwards and Tony Stewart looked like they had the cars to beat most of the night but a late questionable caution for debris set up Busch for the win.  It had been at least 10 years since I had been to RIR and if it wasn't so cold and damp it would have been a much more pleasant time.  I will have to say Nascar needs to do something to make the racing better because the last few weeks have been quite boring.  Next week the Sprint Cup Series heads to Talladega so I am sure there will be allot more excitement there than there has been the last 2 weeks.  MICKEY
