RANGERS LOOK TO WIN THE PRESIDENTS TROPHY

A win tonight over the Washington Capitals will give the New York Rangers the Presidents Trophy which means the Rangers had the NHL's best record this year and it will be the 1st time that they won it since the last time they won the Stanley Cup back in 1994.  Tonight's game also could be a preview of a 1st round playoff match up depending on the outcome of several other games but there is a good chance they could meet the Capitals in 1st round match up starting next week.  In the AHL last night the Norfolk Admirals won there 24th straight game last night beating Binghamton last night 3-1, the Admirals will look for there 25th straight win tonight against Binghamton which will be there final game of the regular season.  The Virginia vs Wake Forest baseball series starts today, I forgot that this was one of those series that was switched to a Saturday-Monday for TV purposes.  I did go down to Wal-Mart this morning for a little shopping and then over to Dunkin Donuts as well and yes the donuts were very good as well.  MICKEY

Cherries

Cherries are a low-carb, low GI choice and can safely be included in your diabetic diet. Twelve sweet cherries have 59 calories and 14 grams of carbohydrates. Cherries, especially tart ones, are packed with antioxidants, which may fight heart disease, cancer, and other diseases. Cherries can be purchased fresh, canned, frozen, or dried. But since many canned and dried fruits contain added sugar, be sure to check the labels.
