VIRGINIA GETS THE #SEED

The Virginia baseball team will be the #1 seeded team in this years 64 team NCAA baseball tournament which begins on Friday.  The Cavs will open tournament play against Navy and the other 2 teams in there regional are East Carolina and St. Johns.  Being the #1 seed doesn't mean anything if you don't go out and back kit up on the field.  The Virginia mens lacrosse team captured the National Championship yesterday beating the Maryland Terrapins yesterday in Baltimore 9-7, hopefully the Virginia baseball team take will to the same this year.  In high school baseball action yesterday both teams from the Central District were eliminated yesterday, Dinwiddie lost to Deep Run 3-0 while Matoaca lost to Mills Godwin 7-2.  It is going to be another very hot and humid day today with temps approaching the upper 90's with heat indexes over 100 so try to stay cool.  MICKEY
