ALLOT OF RAIN

We have had allot of rain here in Heights since Midnight, at the two rain gauges online we have had over 2 inches an it is still coming down pretty good. There is now way that we are going to be able to play baseball here tomorrow night, heck we may not be able to get on the field at the stadium all week. After the rain today and early tomorrow the rest of the week looks very good and very warm which is fine with me. The Final Four is now set with Duke and Michigan Sate joining Butler and West Virginia, I have to root for Butler to win it all. The rain also washed out yesterdays race at Martinsville, they are suppose to run it today at Noon but with all the rain they had yesterday the parking situation there could be a nightmare. I have posted a link below to the photos Al took at the CH vs Trinity baseball game on Thursday, try to stay dry. MICKEY

Dead battery
This is often the culprit when your engine won't start. All batteries weaken over time. In addition, infrequent use, a lot of short trips, or multiple accessories being used when the headlights are on can leave the battery undercharged. If you forget to turn off a light or you listen to the radio with the engine off, the battery could be too weak to start the engine when you need it.

How to prevent it:
Although the effect of a drained battery often shows up on cold mornings, it's the high temperatures of summer that usually do the most damage. So a battery can go at any time. That's why you should have the battery and alternator tested as part of an annual safety inspection.

“The man who can drive himself further once the effort gets painful is the man who will win.”
