VIRGINIA TO PLAY FOR THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, W&M FALLS

The Virginia Cavalier soccer team will play for the National Championship tomorrow against the undefeated Akron Zips Zips in Cary, North Carolina. The Cavs beat Wake Forest 2-1 in OT while Akron beat UNC 1-0 on penalty kicks. It could be a very sloppy field down in NC because there is a pretty good chance of rain down there. The William & Mary football team lead most of the game before falling to Villanova last night 14-13, Villanova will now play the winner of todays Appalachian St vs Montana game for the I-AA Championship next week. In high school basketball action last night the CH boys team lost to Dinwiddie 57-49 and the CH girls team lost a very close one to Collegiate 46-45. In high school football action today the Thomas Dale Knights will play for the Div 6 AAA State Championship against Lake Braddock, I think Andrew & Keith are going. Down in Georgia last night Scottie went 4-1, he will have 5 more matches today. Tonight in college basketball action they will play the city championship with Richmond visiting VCU, I think it will be a close game with the Spiders coming away with a victory sending the Rowdy Rams fans unhappy. I did get some donuts this morning from Dunkin Donuts and they were very good, Wal-Mart has officially lost my donut business. MICKEY
