YANKEES WIN WORLD SERIES, EAST CAROLINA IN ACTION TONIGHT

The New York Yankees beat the Philadelphia Phillies last 7-3 to win this World Series 4 games to 2. The Yanks jumped on the Phillies early and just continued to build on there lead en route to the win. The East Carolina Pirate football team will be looking to give Virginia Tech there 3rd straight loss tonight when the Hokies visit Greenville, NC. I wish I could be there but I have to work tomorrow, GO PIRATES. Well we had baseball camp again last night and my arm is a bit sore this morning, I threw allot pitches and I haven't thrown in about 2 weeks which is recipe for arm today. I now everybody's picks except Murph's hopefully he will send me his picks before tonights game. MICKEY

Electrolyte beverages. Dehydration is a big concern for flu sufferers--especially if you're the lucky kind who vomits whenever you get sick. Keep some Gatorade around, or choose my favorite kind, Recharge by R.W. Knudson. They don't add any sugar or artificial colors or flavors.

Exercise every day, but avoid doing it 4 hours before bedtime
Staying active and physically fit is an excellent way to ensure a good night’s sleep. However, exercise too close to bedtime may actually cause difficulties in getting to sleep as your body will still be revved up.

Committed to make it work
Do you hesitate to take action because you're not sure if you'll be effective? Remember that achievement is built on efforts that work as well as efforts that don't work.

Some of your individual efforts may not bring the desired results. Yet when you are committed to keep doing whatever is necessary, you are sure to find a way.

The important thing is to focus on the goal, and put your energy into doing your best to reach that goal. Accept that you may not get the result you desire, then step forward anyway, and do everything within your power to achieve that result.

At the very least, you'll gain valuable experience. And with enough experience, you'll eventually be able to get it right.

It's true that there are no guarantees. After all, if it were a sure thing, someone else, far less capable than you, would have already claimed the prize.

Go ahead and make the effort. It will work when you're committed to make it work.
