COLONIALS IMPROVE TO 3-0 WITH 8-5 VICTORY

The Colonial Heights Colonials improved to 3-0 on the season with a 8-5 victory over the Nottoway Cougars. The Colonials were lead on the mound by Nathan Anger who struck out 8 and Caleb Lee who came in for relief just allowing a combined 4 hits between them. Offensively the Colonials were lead by Kenny Stoneback, JD McCarty, Erik Loftis who all had two hits a piece and Brett Draper who had 3 RBI's. Next up for the Colonials is a Thursday game with Collegiate at 4:30pm. The CH softball team fell to Nottoway 4-1 and the CH boys soccer team beat LC Bird 8-2. The UVA baseball team beat the Richmond Spiders yesterday 11-1, the Cavs are now off until a weekend series with ACC foe Miami. Thomas Dale is back in action today when they travel to Midlothian. My aches and pain index has gone up a bit because I have a very sore muscle in right leg and my shoulder is also a bit tender. By the way spring started last night and today the 1st day of spring the temp doesn't look like it is going to make it to 50, however it will start warming up considerably Thursday threw the weekend.
