COLONIALS FALL 8-6 TO COLLEGIATE

The Colonial Heights Colonials baseball team suffered it's first setback of the season falling to Collegiate 8-6 at Shepherd Stadium. The Colonials fell behind in the 1st inning 3-1 and simply could never catch up. We simply didn't make enough plays in the field and offensively didn't make the most of our chances. The Colonials are now off until Tuesday afternoon when we return to Central District play visiting Thomas Dale. The CH girls soccer team defeated Powhatan last night 3-2, with the win the Colonials improve 2-0 on the young season. The UVA baseball team returns to action today when the Miami Hurricanes visit Charlottesville to play the Cavs. The COT makes it's debut this weekend in the Nascar Nextel Cup series, I don't like the way the car looks but I guess I will have to get used to it. In the NCAA basketball tournament last night Kansas, Memphis, UCLA, and Ohio State all picked up victories, there will be four more games tonight. The Richmond Renegades lost there 6th straight game last night 5-4 to Pee Dee in OT, the Gades will finish out there regular season tonight when they play play the #1 team in th league the Columbus Cottonmouths. The Gades are heading into the playoffs running on empty. A fellow blogger will be having a birthday on Saturday, stay tuned to see who it is. MICKEY
