WELL IT'S THANKSGIVING WEEK

One good thing about Thanksgiving week is it is short work week for most of us bloggers, 1 day off for some while fellow bloggers who work the government will get 2 days off (people who work at schools or for the state or federal gov't). Also on Tuesday there is a fellow blogger with a birthday, well some of you bloggers know whose birthday it is the others will just have to wait and see. The Packers and Redskins both lost again on Sunday, GB lost to the Patriots 35-0 while the Redskins lost to Tampa 20-17. The early line on Saturday's football game between Virginia Tech and Virginia has Virginia Tech favored by 17.5 points, Virginia has to win to become bowl eligible and still might not get invited to a bowl. Jimmy Johnson won the Nextel Cup yesterday at Homestead holding off Matt Kenseth for the title, Chesterfields Denny Hamlin finished 3rd in the chase for the cup, not bad for a rookie. Greg Biffle won yesterday's race. Also I did do a little more Christmas shopping over the weekend, I don't know about the rest of yall but my list is getting smaller and smaller every day. MICKEY

What is, is. What isn't, isn't. You become so obsessed with what isn't that you miss what is.

A surprisingly small serving of sweet potatoes meets your entire daily needs for vitamin E. Most vitamin E-rich foods, such as vegetable oils, nuts and avocados, contain a hefty dose of fat, but just 2/3 cup of sweet potatoes provides 100% of your daily vitamin E needs, and it's virtually fat-free. A medium sweet potato has just 118 calories, and its orange-hued flesh is rich in cancer-fighting beta carotene. Sweet potatoes also contain vitamin B6, potassium, iron and fiber -- pop one in the microwave for a great late afternoon snack.
PS I DON'T LIKE SWEET POTATOES
