VIRGINIA UPSETS MIAMI, ECU & RENEGADES FALL

The Virginia Cavaliers upset the Miami Hurricanes 17-7 in Charlottesville yesterday, with the win the Cavaliers need to beat Virginia Tech to become bowl eligible which will be a tough task. The UVA defense played a great game with the exception of that 1 play Miami scored on and the offense did enough to win scoring 17 points on a very good Miami defense. Miami offense sure didn't play like past Miami teams, they just didn't look like they had much speed, I have posted a few photos that I got from the AP of the game. The East Carolina Pirates may have lost the east division of CUSA yesterday giving up 9 points in the final 2:37 of the game. The Pirates lead the entire game until the last 3 seconds but those are the ones that count. ECU will play at NC State next weekend and have to get some help from Marshall to win the east division of CUSA. Rutgers miracle season came to an end last night losing to the Cincinnati Bearcats 30-7, the Scarlet Knights never showed up for this one and in the biggest game of the day Ohio State beat Michigan 42-39. The Richmond Renegades offensive woes continued last night in Jacksonville losing to the Barracudas 3-2 in OT, the Gades didn't score a goal until the last 5 minutes of the game, it's apparent to me this team needs some more goal scorers. Matt Kenseth won the final race of the season for the Busch series at Homestead last night, the Nextel Cup series will finish there season today at Homestead. MICKEY
