The UVA basketball team erased a 13 point Arizona lead at halftime and defeated the Arizona Wildcats 93-90 last night at the new John Paul Jones Arena, hopefully this will be a sign of things to come for the Cavs. The Washington Redskins just about eliminated themselves from making this years NFL playoffs losing to the Eagles 27-3, maybe they will give the Jason Campbell a shot at QB now to see what he can do. The Green Bay Packers beat the Vikings 23-17 keeping there faint playoff hopes alive and the Steelers defeated the Saints in offensive affair 38-31. Kevin Harvick won yesterdays Nextel Cup race at Phoenix holding off Jimmy Johnson at the finish. The chase for the Nextel Cup looks like it is Jimmy Johnsons to win, he leads Matt Kenseth by 63 points and Denny Hamlin and Kevin Harvick 90 points going into the final race of the year next week at Homestead. It looks like the weather will improve the first three days this week before another pretty good shot of rain comes into the area Thursday, it sure was a pretty miserable yesterday. i saw some of that game and uva was down soo far i figured they'd get beat so i started watching something else and then saw on the news this morning that they won!!!
Mic - I hope your ankle's better. At least you were doing something to cause the injury. I have tendonitis in my elbow, and the only thing I really do is type on the computer!
The Redskins need to give Campbell a chance - It sure isn't going to hurt anything.
