EDWARDS WINS THE RACE, HAMLIN STILL THE POINTS LEADER

Carl Edwards won yesterdays race at Phoenix after Denny Hamlin pretty much dominated the event all day but Hamlin had to stop late in the race to get fuel while both Johnson and Harvick stayed out and made it to the finish. Denny Hamlin still leads the points but only by 15 over Johnson and 46 over Harvick heading into the final at Homestead. The Washington Redskins will be looking to be beat the Philadelphia Eagles for the 2nd time this season on Monday Night Football in D.C., yesterday the Cowboys looked like a different team with there new coach in beating the N.Y. Giants. Tonight in college basketball both the Virginia Cavaliers and VCU Rams look to improve to 2-0 on the season, the Cavs will be at home against South Carolina Upstate while VCU will face Winthrop in the Pre-Season NIT in Winston Salem, NC. It looks like we are going to get some more rain tonight and tomorrow, however it looks like it is going to be very light rain for the most part. MICKEY

“It takes too much time!”
We hear you, but consider the payoffs of 150 minutes a week of “moderate intensity” exercise, as recommended by the American Heart Association and American College of Sports Medicine. With five 30-minute run-walk workouts per week, you can expect a reduced risk of chronic illnesses, such as heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes, osteoporosis, obesity, colon cancer, breast cancer, anxiety, and depression.
