HAPPY NEW YEAR, IT'S FRIDAY

Well I want wish all you fellow bloggers a HAPPY NEW YEAR. I wasn't up at midnight to see the New Year come in though, I was sound a sleep. The reason I was sound asleep is I have to work today, I know just about everybody else will be off. Hopefully it will be a fairly short day but we have been doing inventory the last two days and we are still doing it so it could be a long day. Keith's lead in out college football pick em contest is down to 3 games over Lee after yesterdays action, they still have 5 different picks left so Lee does have a chance. I sure doesn't seem like it is 2010 thats for sure. MICKEY

* Find a hobby you love to do to literally get lost in time and space.

* Get together with others to intensify happy moments.

Cushion your cutting board.
Avoid a visit to the E.R. Place a damp kitchen towel underneath your cutting board to prevent it from rocking or slipping while you're chopping or slicing foods.

Quick Tip: To help retain the highest levels of vitamin C, don't thaw frozen veggies before cooking. Studies show that vegetables cooked directly from frozen retain more vitamin C than vegetables that are thawed first.

Success is not measured by what you accomplish, but by the opposition you have encountered, and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds.
