Generals Score Early and Often

Dinwiddie erased a Knights 1-0 lead by scoring 12 unanswered runs. The big blow was a grand salami off the bat of Generals Marcus Waller in 2nd inning. The Knights were one strike away from a shortened game, but Frankie Sheffield crushed a 3 run dinger to center to make the score 12-4. The Generals scored 2 more in their half of the inninng to extend their lead to 14-4. Thomas Dale did make things interesting in the 6th plating 2 runs, but our big gun left the sacks full with a bouncer back to pitcher making the final 12-6. The Knights travel to Colonial Heights Thursday needing a win to keep pace w/ the 2nd place Colonials.
