HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY, VIRGINIA WINS THE ACC

I hope everybody has safe and happy Memorial Day and doesn't forgot the men and women serving around the world for our country so we can keep doing the things we do. Also don't forget those who served our country in the past that were injured or paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The Virginia baseball team beat Florida State yesterday 6-3 to win the ACC baseball tournament, the Cavs will be on the road somewhere next weekend in NCAA baseball tournament as they were not selected as one of the 16 teams that will host a regional, the filed of 64 teams will be announced at 12:30pm today. In the NHL playoffs yesterday Detroit hammered Chicago 6-1 to take a 3-1 series lead, Pittsburgh can end there series with Carolina tomorrow. Helio Castroneves won yesterdays Indianapolis 500 holing off Dan Wheldon for the win. The Coca Cola 600 was rained out last night and they will run it at Noon today and the weather could still cause some problems because there is a 70% chance of rain today. It rained here in KDH as well yesterday afternoon. I will be heading back home sometime this afternoon to get ready for another week of work. MICKEY

In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.
Robert Frost

Active Holidays
Plan an active vacation/holiday - learn a new sport or go walking in a beautiful area. That way you get fitter and don't put on weight.

Envy - Jealousy and discontent with what one has. Don’t envy anyone - wish them well.

Running. A common myth about running is that treadmill running puts less stress on your knees and joints than running on asphalt or pavement. It is the force of your body's weight on your joints that causes the stress, which is the same weather on treadmill or road surface. The best way to reduce impact is to vary workouts with elliptical machines, stationary bikes, treadmill and road running.

Drop the resentment
Resentment builds a strong connection between you and whatever or whomever you resent. Is that really what you want to do?
The time and energy that you devote to resentment will take away from other things you could be doing. Is resentment really how you wish to spend your precious resources?

Sure, you may not like whatever has happened, whatever brought up those feelings of resentment. Yet the sooner you move beyond it, the better off you'll be.

Stop punishing yourself for the thoughtlessness of someone else. Let it go, and let yourself move positively forward.

Take all that energy in your resentment, re-direct it, and make something valuable out of it. What's happened has happened, yet what will happen next is up to you.

Make the next moment one that will give you cause for grateful celebration. Drop the resentment, and get on with living your own unique joy.
