CAPITALS WIN GAME 1, KYLE BUSCH WINS AT RICHMOND

The Washington Capitals won game 1 of there best of 7 series with Penguins yesterday 3-2 at the Verizon Center. The Penguins jumped out to q quick 1-0 lead before the Caps woke up and tied the game at 1-1 and from there the Caps looked pretty good. They will play game 2 of the series tomorrow. Kyle Busch won last nights Sprint Cup race at Richmond holding off Tony Stewart for the win, Kyle has quickly become the new face of Nascar and it's best driver. Next week they head to Darlington for the Southern 500. The Colonial Heights baseball team will began a busy week tomorrow weather permitting at Petersburg before returning home to face Thomas Dale on Tuesday and heading back on the road to face Meadowbrook on Thursday. I was going to cut the grass this morning however it looks likes it is going to be to wet for that today. My right shoulder is hurting pretty bad for some reason, it started hurting last night and is still hurting this morning. Andrews Little League team won yesterday and will play again today at 2pm weather permitting, there is a 70% chance of rain today. MICKEY

Walking Boosts Your Brain Power
A study of people over 60 funded by the National Council on Aging, published in the July 29, 1999 issue of Nature, found that walking 45 minutes a day at 16-minute mile pace increased the thinking skills of those over 60. The participants started at 15 minutes of walking and built up their time and speed. The result was that the same people were mentally sharper after taking up this walking program.

Why is the Swine flu different from other flus?
Influenza is caused by a virus. There are thousands of different kinds of viruses that can cause the flu and new strains develop each year. The seasonal flu is actually comprise of several different strains. Swine flu is just one more strain.
