SOUTH CAROLINA WIN THE CWS AGAIN

The South Carolina Gamecocks won there 2nd consecutive CWS Championship last night beating the Florida Gators 5-2 and winning the best of 3 series 2-0.  The South Carolina pitching staff deserves allot credit for how they pitched in the CWS, they were pretty much lights out the whole while they were in Omaha.  With the new bats in college baseball this year pitching has become much more important and next year those same bats will be coming to high school baseball as well which will cut down on the offense at the school level as well.  It looks like you are going to have to back to playing small ball to be successful.  Well we got a pretty sever t-storm here in Colonial Heights last night, we needed the rain but we didn't need all that lightning though.  MICKEY
