VIRGINIA VS OKLAHOMA SERIES TO START ON SATURDAY
The best of 3 Super Regional Baseball Series between Oklahoma and Virginia will open up with game 1 on Saturday at 3pm on ESPNU followed by game 2 on Sunday at 4pm an ESPN and if a game 3 would be needed it would be played Monday at either 1pm or 7pm on ESPN2. Looking at the schedules for the Super Regional it looks like all the game from all the series are going to be covered the ESPN series of networks. The Matoaca baseball team will be on the road tonight against Western Branch High School, the game will be played at ODU. I have posted a link below to the photos AL took at Andrews LL game on Sunday before the rains came, they mad up the game last night. Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals will be on Wednesday night in Philadelphia, the Blackhawks lead the Flyers 3-2 in the best of 7 series. Also fellow blogger Keith is in Georgia doing some grueling government work. MICKEY

Myth: Cooked veggies are less nutritious than raw
Fact: It depends on the vegetable. "Cooking destroys some nutrients, but it releases others," says Marion Nestle, author of What to Eat. It destroys vitamin C and folic acid, according to Nestle, which is why it's not a great idea to cook oranges.
On the other hand, she says, cooking releases vitamin A and the nutrients in fiber and makes them easier to digest. It's also easier for your body to absorb more lycopene, a cancer-fighting antioxidant, in cooked tomato sauce than from raw tomatoes.
Steam or roast veggies instead of boiling, which leaches out water-soluble vitamins into the cooking water.
Experience tells you what to do; confidence allows you to do it. -Stan Smith
