VCU TAKES OUT IT'S FRUSTRATION ON TOWSON, VIRGINIA TECH AT VIRGINIA

The VCU Rams came into last nights game with Towson in a bit of a bad mood after being humiliated at Northeastern on Saturday and took there frustration out on Towson in a big way. The Rams beat Towson 112-53 last night dominating the game in every aspect of it, the 112 points the Rams scored were most points they have ever scored in the history of the Seigel Center. The last time that many points were score the in that building was when the Harlem Globetrotters beat the Washington Generals a few weeks ago. Tonight the Virginia Cavaliers will welcome the Virginia Tech Hokies to the JPJ Arena, the Cavaliers need to bounce back after Saturdays loss to Wake Forest. Well they are still calling for snow here in CH late Friday night into Saturday, the amount they are calling for varies greatly between the different weatherman. I guess will just have to see how much we get, the NWS has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the potential for more than 3 inches. MICKEY

Eating too much sugar causes diabetes
Not in the same smoking-gun way that cigarettes cause cancer, but research shows that sugar may play a part—and it's smart to limit your intake. A landmark JAMA study found that women nearly doubled their diabetes risk when they increased the number of sugar-added drinks they consumed from one or fewer a week to one or more per day over a 4-year period.
