The Virginia baseball team lost a game that they should have won yesterday falling to Maryland 8-7, if they want to host the NCAA baseball tournament they have to win the games that they are suppose to. They will play the final game of the series today. Speaking of college baseball the East Carolina Pirates are now 25-5 after sweeping UAB yesterday and are in 1st place in CUSA 1 game ahead of Rice, the Pirates will host Rice next weekend. The Colonial Heights Colonials had a tough time in the 1st day of the Manchester Spring Break Baseball Tournament falling to Manchester 11-1 in 5 innings, Manchester was a very good team which has not lost a game this season, the Colonials are scheduled to play J.R. Tucker tomorrow weather permitting. Thomas Dale in the same tournament beat J.R. Tucker 5-2, TD will face Clover Hill next. Well the NCAA basketball finals are now set with UNC'S 83-69 win over Villanova and Michigan States 82-73 win over UCONN, the championship game is tomorrow night. Todays race is at the Texas Motor Speedway. Last night I went over to Ironbridge Park to watch Andrew's Little League opener, Andrew is playing for the Nationals this year and they lost there opener last night 11-6. MICKEY
