COLONIALS BACK IN ACTION TODAY

The Colonial Heights Colonials baseball team will be back in action this morning at 10am against a very good Manchester team. Manchester has not lost a game all season and are tied for 1st place in the Dominion District with Cosby. The Thomas Dale Knights will also be in action today as well in the same tournament and they will be facing J.R. Tucker. The Virginia baseball team rallied for a 7-4 win over Maryland last night, they will continue there series with Maryland today. The NCAA basketball tournament will resume today with Michigan Stat facing Connecticut and Villanova facing North Carolina with the winners advancing to the championship game on Monday. David Reutimann captured the pole for this weekends race at the Texas Motor Speedway, points leader Jeff Gordon will start on the outside pole. The NHL season ends next Sunday and if the Rangers want to make the playoffs they need to start playing better soon, right now they are in the 8th a final spot to make the playoffs but they are only 2 points ahead of Florida who is in the 9th spot. My PAIN remains the same this morning, my knee is still sore and my arm is a bit sore from throwing a bit last night as well. It also appears fellow blogger Scott is going to have a busy day as he takes Dusty over to Gordon College to look at the campus, he may be going there next year. Transfats (produced when vegetable oils are artificially hardened to produce margarine) have been linked to heart disease. Fast foods are often high in transfats.

Diets Aren't the Answer
I've said it before and it bears repeating: Making small changes in your diet every day is the easiest way to successfully change bad eating habits. Focusing on one thing at a time, one day at a time, will ease the pressure and allow you to ease your way into a new healthy lifestyle.

Celebrate the consequences
Do you pay a price for your actions, or do you reap great rewards from them? Do you fear the consequences of what you do, or do you eagerly await those consequences?
It all depends on the actions you take. The destination at which you arrive is determined by the direction in which you most consistently travel.

Instead of cursing the negative consequences, simply avoid the actions that cause them. Instead of wistfully wishing in vain for the things you seek, just take the actions that will bring those things into your life.

Everything in your life is the result of one thing or another. You can't avoid consequences, yet you can determine which ones you get.

Put yourself in a position to celebrate the consequences. With positive purpose, focus, effort and persistence the very best of life's results can be yours.

Most of what happens to you happens because of you. Use your actions to move solidly toward those consequences that you'll delight in celebrating.
