I DECIDED TO COME TO THE BEACH AFTER ALL

Well I decided to come to beach after all. When I got home last night the inside of my left ankle was pretty swollen and pretty sore. After arriving at the beach last night I iced down pretty good & this morning the swelling has gone way down and don't hardly any pain either. The bad thing is I have no idea when I hurt it. I am going to try to run on it in a little bit and then ice it it down again and then see how it feels. Well anyway I am at the beach and it only suppose to get in the mid 80's hear today. One of Colonial Heights entries in this years BIB tournament the CH quarterback Club was beaten last night 7-1 by Dinwiddie, CH other team the CH Optimist Club will play tonight. Speaking of Shepherd Stadium they have now painted everything that was green now blue including the left field wall which had nothing on it the entire high school and legion seasons, I am glad they finally got around to painting the wall. Dale Earnhardt Jr captured the pole position for this weeks Nascar race at Pocono holding off the Busch brothers for the top spot. Well I am going to enjoy my day at the beach. MICKEY

"Pea" is for Protein I DO NOT ENDORSE THIS
Can eating peas save your eyesight? Peas are also an excellent source of lutein, which is believed to help fight macular degeneration, the leading cause of blindness in people age 65 and older. It may surprise you to learn peas are not vegetables -- they're actually legumes. Either way, a 2/3-cup serving contains about 5 grams of protein, or about 10% of the daily protein needs of a 130-lb. person. Like other legumes, peas are rich in B vitamins, minerals and soluble fiber. While it's a treat to eat fresh peas in late spring and early summer, shucking them is tedious. Frozen peas are just as nutritious as fresh. Add them to pilafs, bean salads and soups.
