COLONIALS OPEN UP THERE SEASON TONIGHT, ALLOT OF RAIN IN KILL DEVIL HILLS

The Colonial Heights Colonials football teams open sup there season at home tonight at 7:30pm against Thomas Jefferson. I will be there but fellow blogger Al will not be there taking photos because tonight is the final night of the season at Southside Speedway. Down in Georgia tonight Crawford County opens up there season on the road at Lee County and the beach First Flight was scheduled to play Manteo but because of Hurricane Earl the game has been postponed. Speaking up Hurricane Earl it looks like it has dropped more than 5 inches of rain places in Kill Devil Hills and they also had wind gust of 69, lets just say it could have been allot worst for sure. We will have to see how much beach erosion there was once the sun comes up. Well there were 4 games in the college football contest last night and I have there some people who did very well getting all 4 games right and there few people who didn't do well at all. Well I am off to work and I sure am glad that it is Friday. MICKEY

Well today is fellow blogger Les Fryar's birthday and he 70 years young today, HAPPY BIRTHDAY LES. There is a rumor going around here in CH that he will be going to Sears later today and picking up something for his birthday, I don't know if this true or not though. My PAIN is back on the rise this morning because rear end is sore from sitting in the bleachers on Monday night, those bleachers are just not those comfortable. If you haven't visited Mickey's Country Music Box lately come by for a visit there are now over 1,500 different songs in the music box. I have posted the college football games that I will be picking next week to the right, there are few tough games in week 1 but then there are few teams that will be heavily favored as well. The weather the next few days here in Colonial Heights will be very nice with around 85 expected the next three days but there is a very little chance of rain. MICKEY
