The Colonial Heights Colonials baseball team opened up the 2012 baseball season with a 16-0 win over Fredricksburg Christian. The Colonials pitching staff only allowed 1 hit and the offense racked up 9 hits in the win. The Colonials will return to action Friday night at home 6pm against Manchester. It may have been a good thing we moved the game from today to yesterday because with all the rain we had overnight I doubt the stadium field would have been playable today. The Virginia baseball team will return to action tonight & tomorrow night against Marist. I have not slept very well the last three night my allergies have really been flaring up quite a bit.
