The Colonial Heights Colonials baseball team opened the season up yesterday with a 18-4 win over Fredricksburg Christian on a very cool evening a Shepherd Stadium. I thought we pitched very well yesterday, hit the ball ok but played very sloppy on defense on numerous occasions. Hopefully we will be able to correct those problems before our next game next Tuesday against Trinity. The Virginia baseball team will be back in action today against James Madison. Tonight in the NCAA basketball tournament the VCU Rams will play USC in Dayton, Ohio in play in game with the winner moving on to face Georgetown. After some more rain today it looks like some very nice weather will be heading into this weekend with temps heading into 70's for a few days.
