HAPPY BITHDAY SCOTT, VIRGINIA SPLITS A DOUBLEHEADER

Well today is Scott's birthday and he is 41 today, I understand he went to the Outback Steakhouse last night for his birthday dinner. The UVA baseball team split a doubleheader with NC State yesterday winning the 1st game 5-3 and falling in the 2nd game 2-0, they will play the rubber match today. Don't forget the Colonials baseball team will have a scrimmage at 5pm Monday at Henrico. The VCU Rams beat the Towson Tigers yesterday 57-46, the Rams will play William & Mary today in the CAA semi-finals, W&M upset Old Dominion yesterday. The Virginia basketball team will play it's final game of the regular season tonight at the JPJ Arena against Maryland, they are going to retire Sean Singletary's #44 tonight as well, fellow blogger Keith will also be in attendance. The Richmond Renegades made it a clean sweep of Jacksonville for the weekend knocking off the Barracudas 2-1 in shootout, the Gades return home Friday night against Knoxville. Matt Kenseth won yesterdays Nationwide race at Atlanta holding off Kevin Harvick for the win, the Sprint Cup Series will race in Atlanta this afternoon. It was a pretty wild day around here yesterday, we had a tornado watch in the morning and we had some very strong winds all day and this morning the temperature has dropped about 25 degrees from yesterday morning. Here out the house we did lose power for about 45 minutes yesterday morning. MICKEY

Health Tip: Move every day
If you don't currently exercise, start moving in some way for 10 minutes every day. Our bodies were meant to move and they shut down if they aren't given a range of motion... joints and muscles begin to atrophy, backs stiffen up, hearts lose strength. Even the busiest executive can find 10 minutes in the beginning of a new fitness plan to take a short walk or hop on a stationary bike. Another alternative: put on some music and dance before your day begins or ends or even while making dinner. The idea is to make a start, however limited you think your time is.
