COLONIALS FALL TO MAGGIE WALKER GS, RENEGADES AT FAYETTEVILLE
The Colonial Heights Colonial baseball team fell to MWGS yesterday 6-1. The Colonials bats were held silent for the most part yesterday by a very good MWGS pitcher, we only had 4 hits and JD McCarty had two of those and we also had 12 K's. It was a very good game for the Colonials. The CH softball team did win yesterday beating the MWGS 4-0 while CH girls soccer team fell to MWGS 2-0. The NCAA basketball tournament did start yesterday and the only team from Virginia George Mason fell to Notre Dame, maybe I will be able to find and underdog to root for after this weekend. The Nascar Sprint Cup Series is of this weekend while the Nationwide Series will be racing in Nashville. The Richmond Renegades will be in Fayetteville tonight, if the Gades win or lose in OT they will capture 3rd place in the SPHL, the Gades last game of the regular season in Saturday night at the RC against Twin City. I forget to mention that Spring officially started yesterday, however it doesn't fell like Spring this morning it is 33 degrees. I will post the soccer and baseball photos from yesterday on photo page later today. MICKEY

LEADERSHIP TIP, from Joe Farcht
Communication: You cannot create outrageous success alone. You must work with and through others. And to work with others means you must communicate with them. Becoming a master communicator is essential. There are many different ways we communicate: verbally, through body language, delegating, inspiring, persuading, and asking questions. There are many different methods we use to communicate: e-mail, face-to-face, blogs, telephone, writing. Each of these mediums requires different communication skills. To create outrageous success, make it your goal to master communication in all these mediums.
