Well we got a little freezing rain overnight however it isn't enough to close or postpone schools here in Colonial Heights. The temperature has climbed just above freezing now so everything that is falling should be just rain. The Virginia basketball game at Georgia Tech last night was postponed due to a leaking roof at Georgia Tech, no makeup date has been set yet, there is no reason for a major university to have a leaking roof at there basketball arena. The UVA baseball team was scheduled to play there 1st game of the season today however that game has been postponed until Saturday because of inclement weather, they will play two tomorrow against Lehigh. The Richmond Renegades will be in Columbus tonight trying to end there 5 game losing streak. The Nascar Sprint Cup Series will be the California Speedway this weekend, the truck and Nationwide series are also there as well. what do you expect from a bunch of geeky engineers. they could tell you how to fix a leak but they couldn't actually do it.
i know of one teacher who woke up at 5:55 and before even getting out of bed cut channel 12 on !! i didn't hear any cussing as i was going downstairs to do my workout but what i heard didn't sound like a happy camper!!
tornado update.... i stated monday that the tornado missed us by 8 miles. but when i went to get my car tags this morning i saw several houses that were completely leveled that were only 1.5 miles away.
8 miles was close 1.5 is way too close!! and they laughted at you for having your shoes on!!!
Yeah about the shoes but he was watching the races while his family was in the closet
but he had his shoes on in case he had to walk out the rubble!!!
