It looks like that we could be getting some more winter weather tomorrow, they are calling for some snow in the morning before it changes to some sleet and freezing rain later and in the day and then to rain sometime Thursday night. Anyway it looks like Thursday is going to be a pretty messy day and there is the possibility that school maybe closed on Thursday. The CH girls basketball team fell to Prince George last night 70-62, the boys will play Prince George tonight at home. The Richmond Renegades are at home tonight against the Knoxville Ice Bears, last Wednesday's game ended with a bit of bad blood between the teams so tonight's game could be very interesting. Where have Donna, Keith, Mark and Melanie been, have you not made the switch over to the new server. MICKEY

1940 - The very first monthly retirement check was issued by the U.S. Government -- to Ida May Fuller of Ludlow, Vermont. Ida May’s check, numbered 00-000-001, was in the amount of $22.54. Fuller, a Legal Secretary, retired in November 1939 and lived to be 100 years old (she died in 1975).
1982 - Sandy Duncan of Tyler, Texas gave her final performance as Peter Pan in Los Angeles, CA. The actress completed 956 performances without missing a show. She flew a total of 261.5 miles while on stage.
1984 - Newsman Edwin Newman retired from NBC News after 35 years with the network.
1990 - McDonald’s opened their first restaurant in Russia -- in Moscow. Did somebody say, "Mickey Deeofsky’s?"

donna changed over and commented on sunday i think . the girls played a great game last night and lead the game at times and for the most part were only behind by 3 when they won't leading except for the end. the lady royals got a royal scare from the colonials!!!
Most of my blogging is dones while I am at work, and the last few weeks were really busy. I'm hoping for some snow so I don't have to come in on Friday!
