the crawford county eagles had their first annual wrestling tournament yesterday and made a respectable showing, finishing fourth out of six teams. scottie wrestled five times winning three of those and was not pinned all day. the teams that were in attendance were upson-lee out of thomaston ga.; harris county near columbus ga.; two teams from henderson out of jackson ga.; gray station middle out of jones county ga.; and the crawford county eagles. a pretty good crowd showed up and some descent money was raised for the booster club(the take down club).
