Well I didn't stay up to see it but the Atlanta Braves evened up there series with Giants at 1 game piece with a 5-4 win in 11 innings. While the Braves turned things around th same thing cant be said about the Cincinnati Reds, the Reds blew a 4-0 lead by falling apart late in the game and losing to the Phillies 7-4 and it looks like the Reds season will end tomorrow. In high school football action last night the Colonial lost to Prince George 21-8 and the Crawford County Eagles lost to Lamar County 29-14 and I have posted the other scores of interest below. Today in college football action the Virginia Cavaliers will be on the road at Georgia Tech and facing there former head coach Al Groh who is defensive coordinator at Georgia Tech, I think this game could be interesting. In the NHL tonight my the New York Rangers will open up there season at Buffalo, the Caps dropped there opener last nigh to Atlanta 4-2. Jamie McMurray captured the pole for this weekends race at Fontana edging out Elliott Sadler for the top spot, by the way I was in Emporia yesterday for about 30 minutes.
