The VCU Rams put up a good fight against UCLA but just came up a bit short falling to the Bruins 65-64, at times the Rams played well but in the end they just turned the ball over to much to win. The Virginia baseball team will open up a series today against Miami, the Cavs are 18-0 and are looking to extend there winning streak against a very good Miami team. Hopefully the rain we had last night will not prevent us from having are 1st game of the season today against L.C. Bird, we were suppose to play last Friday against Varina but the rain washed that game out. The Richmond Renegades lost to the Huntsville Havoc last night in OT 3-2 keeping there faint playoff hopes alive. The Gades scored 2 gaols in the 3rd period to tie the game a 2 but fell on a powerplay goal in OT, the Gades will be at Twin City tonight. The Colonial Heights girls softball team is now 2-0 after beating Collegiate 6-3. Well today is the first day of Spring however it isn't going to feel like Spring with a high in the low 50's expected, by Sunday it should be in the 60's. After a week off the Nascar Sprint Cup Series will be at the Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend. MICKEY
