COLONIALS WIN 4-2 AT PRINCE GEORGE

The Colonial Heights Colonial beat the Prince George Royals last night 4-2 in Prince George. Phillip Griffith went the distance on the mound for the Colonials allowing just 3 hits and striking out 5 for the Colonials. Offensively the Colonial were lead by Brett Draper who went 4-4 with a HR and BJ Solomon who went 3-4 with a HR. The Colonials defense played extremely well in the victory. The Colonials will face Dinwiddie Thursday night at Shepherd Stadium. The Thomas Dale Knights also won yesterday beating Meadowbrook 14-3 in 5 innings, the other two CD were washed out yesterday. The CH softball team fell to Prince George 4-0 and CH boys soccer team beat prince George 2-1. The CH girls soccer team lost to PG 3-2 and in the game Julianne may have broken her foot, maybe AL can give us an update on here injury this morning. The weather turned out be pretty good for last nights game, the sun ended up coming out and the temp was in the 70's te whole game, however it looks like there is a 50% rain on Thursday. My allergies are really bothering me this morning, my head is extremely congested, I think there was a bit to much pollen in the air at Prince George. I also didn't sleep very well last night so my PAIN index is still high. MICKEY
