CENTRAL DISTRICT BASEBALL PLAY STARTS TODAY WEATHER PERMTTING

Central District baseball play is scheduled to start today weather permitting and there is a 60% chance of rain so things are not looking to good. The Colonial Heights Colonials will be at Prince George at 6pm, the only good thing about that is that Prince George's field does drain very well so if there is any chance to play we will, if we were at Shepherd Stadium I don't' think there is any chance we would play, it just doesn't drain well. Thomas Dale is at home against Meadowbrook. The CH boys soccer team and softball team will be at PG as well while the girls soccer team will be at home. The weather sure hasn't been good the last few days, it's in the 60's one day the 40's the next and rain today the 70's rain and it looks by Thursday is it's going to be back in the low 50's. I just wish it would get warm and stay warm. I have added a new scoreboard to the right of the blog, let me know what you think of it, I like it better than the rest I have posted. If you want to change which league you want to see scores from just hit the arrow facing down on the left by the letters MLB. Don't forget today is APRIL FOOLS DAY, so don't let anybody fool you today. I did throw some in the cage last night so my arm is a bit sore and my gout toes is a bit tender as well so my PAIN index has been elevated. MICKEY

People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can't find them, make them.
George Bernard Shaw

The way you feel
As you go through this day, make an effort to notice one small, insignificant little frustration that you'd normally get upset about. Then do yourself a favor, and simply let it go.

Experience, in that small way, the freedom of being in control of the way you feel. And realize that you can extend that control to every situation in which you find yourself.

The little things most certainly do not have to get you down. And neither do the big things.

At any moment, the way you feel is the way you choose to feel. The way you respond is the way you choose to respond.

Do you really wish to be under the control of those who do not have your best interest at heart? Of course you don't.

Base your feelings on the unique, valuable person you know you are, and on the positive possibilities available to you. Feel the genuine greatness of this moment, and you can bring it to life.
